My new pet sugar glider.

best $650 I ever spent. HE'S SO CUTTTEEEE

oh god, that was the most expensive impulse buy ever. only it wasn't really an impulse buy, since I'd researched these little guys over the summer. XD my sister's all grr towards me since she's the person that told me about them. I was gonna buy her one too as a christmas present, until I found out the total cost of mine alone...I mean, just the glider itself cost $300, not counting tax and the cage and food and ugh...o_o

my mom was facepalming 'cause she didn't want me to spend all that money. XD but now that we've got him here...she loves him and his adorableness. XD

I named him Zorro! he's my little buddy. even though he's a scared, 8 week old baby that bit me several times the first time I took him out of his cage.

today he was such a good boy. <3 he calmed down really fast and even licked applesauce off my finger without biting it!

Right now he's hanging out in a special pouch that I wear around my neck. The longer I keep him with me, even if he's just snoozing, the more he'll get used to my scent and bond to me faster.

Sugar gliders even get along well with household pets, like cats! I'm so excited to see how that'll go. XD my cats are really curious about him and always watch him when he moves around in his cage.

Aghh. Everyone should check when Pocket Pets is coming to a location near them, and then they should go buy one of these little guys. Sugar gliders are so great and easy to take care of, if you do it right. the only difficult part is getting them to bond to you, but even I'm making progress with that after only a few days! it's just difficult not to fall in love with them. X3 even when he's fighting me and trying to bite, he's just like a little baby throwing a tantrum. eventually he runs out of breath and just stares at me, it's so funny.

...okay, I'm done. XD people are really going to get sick of me obsessing over my buddy Zorro, so I thought I'd let it all out at once.

He even makes these cute little chattering noises when he's content or sleepy~ 8D
